31 Days to Success: Day 13 Work At Home Jobs

Its my opinion that most people who aren’t able to find a legitimate work-at-home job are looking in the wrong place for the wrong types of jobs. Its important to know that:

1) You can’t just sign up for a job. Like traditional jobs you have to go through an application process and be the best qualified candidate.

2) You won’t work at home stuffing envelopes, assembling crafts, processing email, processing payments, doing surveys, typing, doing data entry, etc.

To get a work-at-home job, start by inventorying your skills and experiences. If you want to type, how fast can you type accurately, what software do you have, etc? They key is to search for jobs that involve skills and experiences you have just as you would in a traditional job search.

And finally, use job resources to find jobs, always being careful to weed out scams. For a list of my favorite work-at-home job resources, check out Work-At-Home Success.

Don’t forget; I post work-at-home jobs daily at the Work-At-Home Success Blog and email additional jobs to the WAHS newsletter each Friday. You can subscribe at the blog.
